Err.. not sure if your comprehensive post is directed towards me as I already own AdvertPRO and have it running across 3 busy sites.
Having spoken the AVP developers on several occasions, this move towards a Java based system will not be exclusive to the product range, as the current user base is used to and may wish to keep running a Perl based system. The Perl version will still be sold after the Java system is release and I believe an additional programmer is being sort to maintain this version.
Certainly the current system is in my experience unbeatable, and yes, I have tried many others. The links integration will be a fantastic addition for me and hence my original post, I can't wait to get my hands on it!
