I will consider your advice and certainly move to this registration process before submission of links... I guess it's effectively the best way, but I will still have the problem occuring when I do add links by myself into my database, as I will have the admin tag instead of the name/email of the contact ? right?

Thanks for your help pugdog, (btw I would really like to see your plugin to upload images, but it unfortunately don't work properly on your demo site, and your link to GossamerThreads is showing a 404 error.
