Hi,

I am just re-importing (yes I did delete and re-create the tables in setup.cgi) my links and having this problem.

I can build OK and it tells me that there are 1756 links in the database which is correct. However when it goes through building each category it has Links = 0 for each one?!

The links are there but not being put in to their categories. I have re-indexed, re-synched etc. but no luck!

What is going on? How do I get it to put the links back in to the categories?

What happens if you do a search for 'broken' categories in the Admin?

Don't know if this is it or not, but worth mentioning. If you have 100 categories, and delete 50 of them and add 50 of them (still 100), they will be numbered from 1-150. Now if you re-import those categorys, they will now be numbered 1-100, in order. This, any links that are in categories 101-150 will not be in any categories.

I once exported ALL my categories, and messed with the data and reimported it all, and it was all messed up that way.... possibly this could be it?
