I asked a question similar to this, but I didn't quite understand the answer.

I would like to make the links into 2 columns just like the categories. Please let me know what I need to modify in sub site_html_link for this to work.

I tried providing codes in the Modification Forum awhile back...and I also played with this a few days ago (with my build script crashing...I must not be closing a loop somewhere).

So, the bottom line is that I have not come up with a solution. If I do, I will post the code hack in the Modification Forum and in the Resource Center.
