Is it possible to use NetObjects and not use templates?
Hello,

I'm confused at where to start and the sequence of things that must be done to use
an html editor like NOB to changes the Links site. I have it working well with templates, but would like to change it and use NetObjects to edit everything.

Are there any links to such instructions?

Can someone spell out the steps necessary to eliminate the templates and incorporate them into an NOB site or similar instructions?

Must CSS go away also?

Thanks,

Dave

Yes, you can use NOF, to design your templates, you must though keep the items in the templates the same in the nof pages, then simply publish them all to the templates directory.
It is a chore to setup another nof site nod file for the templates though, since you must open up each template file, and grab out the coding that must appear in each page, and place it in the nof drawn pages.
But can be done, it'd be easier to design a header and footer in NOF, and just copy and paste that to the top and bottom of each template page.
We have used it in this way. We also design exclusively with nof, and havn't opened FP in about a year and a half.

Some things that you'll have to keep in mind.

1. Each page in nof must be named the same as it's equivalent template file name.
2. You can only control how the page around the links code looks.
3. You "may" need to make full url links to the images.

Good luck.
