hey, when you add there site, how do you send out a email saying that your site has been add it. Doesnt the link 2.0 do that, I think it does, but when I add someones site, how come it doesnt send them a email saying, your site has been add it, etc..

The email notification of the acceptance of a link is based on the validation routines. That is, when a user adds a link, it is put in validate.db until the admin validates it. Once validated, the email is sent. No email is sent when the admin adds a link him/herself because there is no validation taking place. Instead, it is a direct add to links.db.
