More pages links issue
I have just upgraded to 3.2. Following the installation and a re-build of our pages, a site user reported that the more pages links on a category page were not linking anywhere. On investigation, it seems that these links are linking to 2.shtml, 3.shtml, 4.shtml etc whereas the actual pages output on build are more2.shtml, more3.shtml, more4.shtml etc

I took a look at the Build setting page in admin and the only setting which seems relevant is the build_more field, but this is populated with Unknown Tag: 'cfg_build_more' and I cannot seem to change it.

Any advice greatly appreciated. I have had to manually change the names of all the extra pages from moreX.shtml to X.shtml as a quick fix but obivously when we next re-build these pages won't reflect the changes.

Try this.

1) Login to Admin Section
2) Click Setup from top menu.
3) Click Build Options from left menu.
4) Scroll down to build_more & build_extension
5) Change this to the settings you want.

Should fix the problem :)

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I did figure out what needed to be changed in Build settings, but the point is I can't change the build_more field. It's stuck with a value that looks like an error code - Unknown Tag: 'cfg_build_more'

No matter how I edit that, it still re-appears.

hum.. not sure how to fix that, might be error in the update you made - or something in the core code - did u tried you do any edits yourself?

Someone with more information might be able to help you.

P.S. this might be a very good idea to make sure you have good backup of your install (db, template, globals, link/review/user/category tables.. etc)

Your upgrade did not complete successfully. You need to make sure you fix any problems that the installer dies on. I believe you already have a support ticket open with this issue.

That's correct. I didn't see a specific message requesting that I re-run the upgrade after fixing any directory permissions issues etc so I had assumed, erroneously, all was well.

Thanks to all that helped though.
