just installed hack to add new permission level -- very well written and the instructions were incredible!

looking at the password file during testing, i noticed that the permissions were written as 1:1:0:0: etc if user created account from signup form. however, if admin created new user the permissions were written as 1:1::: (no zeros).

not positive, but i think the original program did the same thing.

i can't think of any reason this will make any difference in the way the program functions -- can anyone see any potential problems?

You are correct...

It doesn't make any difference other than aesthetics (sp?). Perl will interpret 0 (zero) as false or nothing (null) as false.
