Is it possible to resort the search results by passing the links table column name you want to sort by?

eg:

http://www.some site.com/...p;mh=25&sb=Title

http://www.some_site.com/...h=25&sb=Add_Date

This doesn't seem to be working for me...

Not possible as far as I know. The build_sort_search_results option, takes care of this to an extent :)

Try adding so=desc or so=asc.

sorry that didn't do it...

Seems like you should be able to reshuffle the results based on a column criteria -- such as add date, price, title, etc...Google can do it.

Perhaps this would be a good place for a plugin. Where would you hook into it? search results pre?

Hmm, seems to work on my site. I don't remember adding a mod to get this working (specially as I'm not using it) but I'll have a look.

Actually, I've been able to get it to work. In setup > search options Had to set:

Determines whether to display and group your search results by category. build_search_gb Yes No

to "No"

Now results are sorted by Link DB column names...
