Why does GT::Date stop working for dates after 2037?
According to GT::Date, 2040 is both before and after 2002. Why is this?

Here's something that can probably explain the mystery:

We had a similar problem with one of the programs I used to beta test (my old job)....after 2037 it would crashs the software. I reported it to my dept. manager, but he said "Well, I don't think people will be using this software in 35+ years" Wink....and to an extent I would imagine he is right...

I wonder how fast PC's will be by then....heh heh Smile

Yeah, but if you're calculating projections for such things as Pensions or Mortgages, then we already have problems.

True...but in the software I was testing, it only was running all the tracking software for the whole countries Police/Fire/Ambulance stuff...so I don't think they will still be running such an outdated piece of software by then Wink When I left, we were also working on a PHP frontend, with MySQL database to store the calls. Worked out about 10 times faster than doing it via flatfile. Anayway...enough of that Crazy
