I've recently been modifying my LSQL 1.3 to ban selected IP addresses after finding literally thousands of auto submitted sites in my validation table.

I'm still not exactly sure how they're getting around the referrers check, but I wondered if the list of IP addresses I'm banning would be of use to any other Links users?

I don't need it...since I have users create accounts and login before adding links (among other interactive options) --> yep, still using Links SQL v.1.13.

You might want to consider adding the code hack that jerrysu came up with for the modify.cgi script...The authentication codes can be applied in other LINKS SQL v.1.13 scripts.
