I needed to change the templates from

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/strict.dtd">

to

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML//EN">

to get a javascript-navigation-menu running in NS 6.1


Is there any argument to use the first version?

No.

I use loose in most of mine and they are pretty darn sexy Angelic.
