I have also customised the editor browser, for which my editors see. I use a rewards system and I am slowly automating this with various globals and plugins. For example, my editors can see what time the last build was, the full path of the category they are editing and so on.... I have also slightly changed the look and color scheme of the editing area to suit my site.
