I want to host other peoples webpage on my site, how do I password protect the directory?

P.S. how do I put link a banner on all of his pages?

Hi,

Check with your ISP about how to password protect your directory, each system is different. For Apache servers, you can read a nice FAQ at:

http://faq.web2010.com/htaccess.htm

As for banners, check with your banner program for how to add banners to CGI programs.
