Setup Questions
I just installed FileMan on a Win2K/IIS5 server running ActivePerl. It's running ok, for the most part, but have some questions.

How do I prevent a user from displaying the ConfigData.pm file to the screen just by entering the URL? I haven't been able to adjust security to prevent this, and since it contains both the UserID and Password unencrypted, I'm concerned. There must be a solution, but I don't know what it is.

Also, I get an error when I start up -- Line 497, Can't move focus to user control. What's going on here?

Finally, sometimes, when I select an HTML file for editing, the file doesn't actually display, even though the status shows as editing. I can click on Text mdoe and it shows instantly, but switching back to HTML gives the same thing. Repeatable.

Thanks for any help offered!

Hi,

To prevent a user from displaying a file on Win2K/IIS , you just need to open your MMC , choose fileman folder , right click on it and select Properties, uncheck Read permission checkbox. That's it SmileTongue

Cheers,
