I am a novice at this and would appreciate easy terms please. I can not password protect my directories. I have read the other postings and don't understand
if it is an error with the program and can't be fixed or if I need to fix it myself. HELP! HELP!

Hi Rosemary, Can you tell us what version of FileMan you are using? PW protecting works fine in both versions for me. It could be a server problem. Are you getting any errors? The more info you can give us on the problem, the better we can help.
