Fileman crashing with MS browser
I always seem to have a problem with fileman crashing when I use microsoft's latest browser. Anybody else have these problems?

Any ideas of fixes?

Well, it happens on an old links sql 2.05 version most of the time. It just locks the browser up and the error report window shows up. It then closes all IE sessions.

I will try to duplicate the error on the 2.1 version I have running as well and get back to you.

2.0.5 has a pretty old version of FileMan bundled with it. You may want to upgrade to 2.1.1 or download a separate copy of FileMan.

Alex, I just had it crash on me usng the fileman with the 2.1.1 version. All I'm doing is going in and out of directories.

Just to add in that I've heard of problems with FileMan crashing under MSIE. One of my colleagues constantly has to use another computer when she wants to use FileMan.

In her case I think actually the whole computer crashes and not just the browser.

Can try to get more details on her configuration if that should be interesting.

I'm using windows xp with IE 6.0, so I have no clue why it crashes my browser.
