I would like save a pdf-dokument on the server.
Another user install acrobat 5.0 a software for edit pdf-dokuments ( not only read ) call the fileman, click the pdf-dokument and then ????

Open the acrobat 5.0 software edit the dokument on the server and save this. Where is now the pdf-dokument ? On the server or the client ?

Have this problem anyone person or a concept ?

Hi Werner,

I think .pdf files are binary so FileMan won't be able to edit them. The user will have to download the file, edit the local copy and re-upload the file to the server. I doubt that there is a way to edit the file on the server from a browser. People would be editing .pdf files all over the net if that were the case :)
