i just downloaded this cgi program and i was trying to install it. ( I am new) I got to step three about the permissions. Here is my problem: I don't have a data directory, hits directory, or a ratings directory, so i make them in my server or what do i do. I reopened the file that I downloaded to see if there was any folders in there but there was nothing but only all the files. Can someone help me? Thanks so much

You probably are using an outdated extraction program...like PKZIP or haven't properly configured WINZIP...You need to include all folders in the archive within the files that you extract.

Since you have improperly de-compressed the archive, I would recommend simply creating the appropriate sub-folders within the "directory" structure that is clearly available in the README file.
