Hi,

I set my SMTP on my links and I get an error. I tried the exact same thing on my old server and the SMTP worked fine.
The Perl version is 3.004007 and I think It might play a factor in why its getting an unknown error.

This is what it says:

Reason: SMTP: connect() failed. reason: Unknown Error: 0x00002741

can someone please help??

That is definitely an obsolete perl on that system. Links requires Perl v5.003 as a minimum I believe. That version of perl doesn't support using smtp.
