Ive installed Links2 many times on Unix servers and am fairly familiar with the code but im having trouble getting the mail system to work on a Windows NT machine.

The problem is the script is trying to sendmail using the SMPT Send Mail Protocals when the SMPT server im using uses some sort of Net::SMPT protocal. Any hints advice etc.. would be greatly appreciated.

Please show us what you have set in links.cfg. The SMTP server in links.cfg needs to be set to something like smtp.somesite.com (or possible, localhost?). A good reference point would be http://www.gossamer-threads.com/...ew=&sb=&vc=1
