Error Setting up Links 2.0 on IIS Remotely
All,
I'm using a webhost for my site. If I try go to my admin script to set things up (after editing the links.cfg file and renaming .cgi to .pl everywhere), all I get is a box asking me open or save the admin.pl file.

Any ideas?

Try saving the file (name it something else) then view it and see if it contains an error message.

Since I am experiencing similar problems, I tried both saving the file, and opening it. If I try to save the file, I get a file system error (1026), and opening it results in an error indicating that the system can't find the admin(1).pl file or one of it's components in the cache directory. Most perplexing, as this is the ONLY .pl file, or .cgi for that matter, that I am having this problem with.
