I have five test links at present but they don't work. I have just discovered that url.db is empty. Should all links urls be in there?? Is this causing the problem and if so, how do I fix it??? The permissions all seem OK and the links are showing up in search results - they just don't work when clicked on and give a "Can't find link ID" error.
Please advise - this is driving me nuts.

Yes, all "active" links from your links.db file should be in there, like the following:



Make sure that ALL your database files are set to 666 (chmod 666) in your data folder as mentioned before in the forums.

All db files in the DATA folder are at 666. But url.db is still completely empty. Will this help identify the problem? >> The same links that will not work on the search results and built pages DO work from the Rate a Resource page.

BTW the links are all displayed in numerical order in links.db with the correct count in linksid.txt
