hi guys,I`ve just installed Links 2.0 on my server ,I created categories and added links as well as customizing my templates,but the script don`t create my .html pages.( I click "build all" on the admin.cgi)

Er we need a little more info than that please, such as the errors that occur...

Probably down to not CHMODing the index.html file in the pages directory to 666, and also the pages folder to 777

That is the most common cause. If that doesn't solve it then please provide us with the error so we can try and help you out a bit more....

I checked the permissions but they are supossed to be ok.

Create a directory called "backup" here:

/cgi-bin/links/admin/backup

Chmod it to 777.

Do you want detailed pages?

If not turn the detailed variable "off" in links.cfg - change it from 1 to 0.

$build_detailed = 0;

If you do want detailed pages then yes, you need to create the Detailed directory and chmod it to 777.

Search your hosts FAQ for that or login to your telnet account and type:

whereis sendmail

The "standard" location is either /usr/bin/sendmail or /usr/sbin/sendmail
