Hello, I just moved Links to a new server, and it will display previously built pages fine. The admin center works except for a few quirks: in the 'add new link' section, there is a line (-) instead of a new link number, and the link ID box drops down to show all categories. I tried 'build-all' and get a 404 page in the frame where "building pages..." should appear. I then had it 'list all' and saw this:

As you can see, the contact name and all below is moved down a row... I do have the alt categories mod added, but it does not show up on this listing... Any ideas on where to look to fix this? It all worked fine on the old server. Thanks!

OK, after more troubleshooting, I find that in links.def, what is supposed to be this: %db_def = ( keeps turning into this: Û_def = ( no matter how many times I change and save it...

ummm ... I don't know how much this will help you but I upload files for the Japanese language set by using the BINARY option, yeah I know upload all text through ASCII (text) ... well this little trick works for me and I get all the characters showing properly. Maybe, you might try trying this ??? I wonder if it'd work. You other question ... sorry no idea.
