nph-verify...document contains no data
This was working fine a week ago. No updates or changes to the server that I am aware of.

I did a search on nph-verify and found several fixes for a 500 error, and one thread with this problem but the only solution was to telnet.

I am not having a problem with any of the other nph files. Just the nph-verify.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Deb

If you have not made any changes to your scripts, possibly your hosting company has in terms of shutting down the nph-verify.cgi script.

Contact your hosting company.

Eliot:

Thanks for the response, and hopefully only one more question.

What should I ask the host?

I want to make sure that they don't steer me in the wrong direction.

Thanks again

Tell them that you are having problems executing the script!

Pretty straightforward if you ask me!

I contacted my host this morning and explained the problem. During the conversation they went out to the site to see the problem first hand.

They were able to run the script from the command line and after a few mionutes running it came up with the following:

******************************************
Checked 364 - Success (200). Message: OK
Checked 361 - Success (200). Message: OK
Checked 386 - Request Failed (500). Message: Can't connect to
www.miraculousmoose.com:80 (Bad hostname 'www.miraculousmoose.com').
Checked 369 - Success (200). Message: OK
Broken Pipe
******************************************

They are going to have the Sys Admin look at the error, but if anyone else has any suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks

The Broken Pipe error could be caused by two factors:

1) Corrupted Database (malformatted records)
2) Problems with LWP module.

Looks like a new host is needed.

We have discussed this with the host and although they say nothing has been done to stop the script, they have requested that we upgrade to a dedicated server at a cost of $375/month due to the growth of the site.

So, we are looking for some help in locating a new host.

We currently have:
1- 80 of 100 Meg space used
2- three SmartList email groups
3- approx. 7G of bandwith
4- Links 2.0 (may be upgrading to SQL)
5- 2 POP3

If anyone has any information, please let me know.

Thanks

Deb
