mailer.pm permissions - sendmail problem

Just a suggestion Elliot - after digging through the message archives and trying a handful of techniques to fix my "sendmail not sending" error.

Can you add this line to the "read me" installation instructions?

Make sure that the Mailer.pm file is uploaded in the $db_lib_path directory as specified in the links.cfg file. Make sure the permission of this file is 644 (rw-r--r--).

This solved my issue, so I looked in the read me to see if it was referenced. It wasn't.

Thought you might like to know...

Isn't Mailer.pm in that directory by default anyway?

Btw...if you were to request this to be added to the readme you should probably contact Alex as Eliot doesn't have the authority to make changes to the script.

Thanks folks - yes, I'll email Alex.

Eliot helps out here so much I was *sure* he had a vested interest. Kudos to him for his participation (and to the rest of you who I see helping out over and over).
