similar to yahoo. how can i do that?

My guess would be to backup your home.html template. Then make a new home.html by hand (notepad or whatever you use) so that you can make it any way you want. But there may be a way to edit the template itself. Bobsie, Alez, or someone a bit more knowledgable with Links may add to this later.
The draw back to doing it by hand rather then by template is I dont know as though the "Links in Database" or "Last updated" areas will still work. They should, but I havent tryed it so am unsure.

You can also just enter in the html as the category description. i.e. for a category Computers, enter in <a href="/Computers/Video/">Video</a> ... < a href="/Computers/Software/">Software</a> ...
