links open in new window
Finally got this to work (sort of). Why doesn't the links open up in new windows? In other words the links open up but in a smaller window.
Also, I get to this submit page but it doesn't do anything when I hit submit. why?

The size of the new window depends on your personal browser settings. However, you could control the size of the new window through Javascript.

Which submission page are you referring to?

I'm referring to the Add a URL submission page.

How do I set up the link so that the surfer clicks thru to the link page instead of having a smaller window open up?

Perhaps I didn't follow you right, but there is no link you could click through on the 'submission page' (add.html, provided you use templates). You control the way you link to the sites in your database mainly through link.html.

No, no. I am asking two different questions. The first is: after I choose a category and click thru on the link in that category the link does not open up on a totally new page. Instead my site is still in the background and the link opens up in a smaller window. How do I get it to open up completely to the linked site?
Second question is:
The submit URL page doesn't work. Maybe it's because I didn't fill the $db_email_path for my sendmail program. Can you tell me a path that I may try using?

Well, the mail path usually is something like
Code:
$db_mail_path = '/usr/sbin/sendmail';
if you don't use a SMTP server. But check the FAQs of your hosting company.

So you do not want to open a link in a new window, is that correct??? Just delete any window attributes you may have added to link.html.

In case I still haven't gotten you right, pls provide a URL.

No, the new page is opening up in the old one (think of a pop up console). When I click on a link the old window showing all the other links in that category is still open. I don't want this.
