link verify
I have applied the changes posted by eric, "To All with Cobalt Raq Servers" and on one links site I run the mod/change worked great. Thanks Eric. My main links site is on the same server, I applied the same changes to the nph-verify.cgi (nph-build.cgi and nph-email.cgi). The problem is that when I try to verify on this links site, it is as though nph-verify.cgi doesnt exist, and wont connect. I have checked all my paths and they are correct. I notice that nhp-verify calls to links.cfg but I can find no reference in links.cfg to nph-verify.cgi.I have run nph-verify using telnet, and it works fine. Would there be any reason that it is actually working in the admin panel but timing out before it gets to print any results. Any ideas would be helpful. Oh yes, there are about 3 times the amount of links (almost 500) in the links that isnt working.
Thanks in Advance

Couple of questions...

Where do I find this "To All with Cobalt Raq Servers" thing?

And also, I don't have access to telnet. Is there a way to run nph-verify.cgi by using something like WS FTP or maybe CuteFTP? (If so, please tell me how to do so?)

Also, when it is run via WS FTP, how / where do I access the results to view the links?

The post you asked about is about 6 posts below this one (follow this link)

You can't run Perl scripts via an FTP client, although some hosts allow you to send server commands (such as CHMOD) with them.
