i installed links-demo on my server. than i run the following test:

Add a category - working
Add a link in that category - working
Build pages - not working!

the error-message is:

"CGI ERROR Error Message: fatal error:Template: Can't find template:

/"system path"/cgi-local/links/admin/templates/home.html
at
/"system path"/cgi-local/links/admin/Template.pm line 41"

does anybody have an idea? any comments are welcome!

I had the same problem, and it was caused by permission errors, so check to see if your permissions and paths are correct.
