Weird permissions problem
Hi all,
Got a weird problem. I've had links working since about June w/o any major problems.

Now Im stummped. I havent made any changes to links recently but I suddenly cant build pages. For some reason, all the .html files links builds have had their permissions changed to be owned by the server. I cant change them back in ftp or shell. The only script I've installed recently was ErrorBot (www.newmediaone.com/scripts/), it's a script that allows you to have a default error page instead of a blank 404 error or whatnot. Could that be it? Anybody run into this? I think my host can fix the problem but Im afraid next time I build the pages Ill be back at it.

Sorry for the long post.

Must be something your host has done, Links wouldn't be able to change the ownership of files (in fact, only a root user can change ownership).

They might not have like files owned by the webserver for some reason. Email them and ask!

Cheers,

Alex
