Hi there!
I just discovered this product today, and I'm excited. But, as a "new" Linux guy (and web server guy too) I'm having problems with the install. I believe that I've chmod'ed everything correctly, and I think I've double checked everything, but I still get the following error when I get to Step 6.3 of the README. Clicking on build all (I guess that's what was meant by build pages) BTW, it's Redhat 6.1.
Any help would be wonderful, or I can spend a few more hours banging my head slowly and methodically on the desk

You need to change permissions at /admin/backup directory to 777

That fixed that, but I had to create the links.db.bak file (which I did by touching the file, then chmod'ing it 666.)
Now I get this:
