Unable to build home page
I have tried many things, all cgi is 755, templates are 777, as is links directory etc. but I keep getting the error. Have looked searched through your FAQ's but couldn't fix.

I really would appreciate any help.

Are the template files in the template directory and ALL data files in the data directory chmod 666 (particularly, check links.db)? Is the admin/data/hits and admin/backup directories chmod 777?

I hope this helps.

Tried this but did no good!
Do I have to change the date config info in links.cfg -I left the default.
Even when I do a staggered build the same error comes when building the pages.

I've also tried building links to www.sar.lk/l instead of www.sar.lk/links as the admin is www.sar.lk/links/.admin

still got the same error

What are the permissions on the links directory?

The links directory is 777.

I even tried to re-install the program, and I still get the same error whenever it attempts to build the pages. All permissions are set to what you wanted. Except some of the 666 ones are set to 777 (data, data/hits)

All the other functions work Ok!
