Style sheets, IE and Apples - has BG got it in for Mac users?
Hello again

Noticed that the links.css seems to perform quite badly on IE4 on a Macintosh - the lovely mouseover effects (PC running Windows 95 and IE4 or IE5) cause large chunks of text to disappear on the Mac - do I need to change any of the default settings in links.css? I'm new to style sheets.

Thanks for such a great product and operating an excellent forum!

Hi,

Having used Mac's on a regular basis, the style sheets on IE 4.0 are a problem. As you say screen problems happen.

This is really down to IE 4.0 (Mac) not understanding them quite correctly. My advice would be to upgrade to IE 4.5 and see if this problem continues.

Other than that check your video card drivers for the latest firmware, that sometimes helps.

Lets just hope that when IE5 comes out on Mac it supports CSS better like in IE5 (PC).
