I have installed links and created a bunch of categories, like 798 of them, heres my problem, when using the add.cgi to suggest a website it now takes about 5 minutes for the confirmation redirect to happen? is this normal when the database is this large or do I have a problem?

I dunno. Shouldn't really make any difference. The code being sent through is gonna be the same whether you have 5 or 50 categories. It will only send what you have selected ( I think ). The number of categories should make no difference to the addition process.

One other thing. Is this site live? It could be that someone else was accessing add.cgi at the same time as you, or it could be you just had a slow connection
