At my site I see the categorie ID numbers instead of the NAMES..
Is this a known problem?

Looks to me like you have hacked your category.def in some fashion, like adding fields, without editing your categories.db file.

Howz about explaining what YOU have done to the LINKS script? Then may be we can assist with pinpointing YOUR error.

the problem IS fixed.
I had to PUT this in links.cfg FROM 0 to 1.

# Field number of category in category.db
$db_main_category = 1;
