another newbie question

I was able to change the folder to the 777 chmod and tried to edit the home.html in admin.cgi,made the needed changes I wanted to make ,and I get an Unknown Tag: with my title inserted,but no html or anything,now what do I need to do? This is for a Ttile change is what I am trying to do. I don't want it to be called Gossamer Threads Links,I want it to have my title.

It doesn't show anything. That is all that is inserted into the index.html is that UNKNOWN TAG: Sexfacials Links List and that is all that is on the page

Uh...you need to use <%site_title%> between the <title></title> anchors. And you change your site title in the $build_site_title variable in the links.cfg file.
