Hi,

I have got a number of several errors after having installed the scripts.

1. Admin section:
The links of both categories "Building" and "Verifying links" only lead to Internal Server errors.

2."Pages" Section:
Add.cgi, Modify.cgi, jump, rate, search and subscribe.cgi cause CGI wrap errors: "the script is not a regular file"

What could be the reasons for those error messages?

1) Have you uploaded them correctly?

2) Have you CHMODed the nph-* files to 755?

3) Are you on a Cobalt server?

Yes that is a raq (or sounds a lot like it)

Comments out $nph++; (#$nph++;) in the nph-*.cgi scripts

Also make sure you uploaded the other cgi scripts in ASCII and chmodded them to 755

1. concerning nph*-files errors:

I have deleted the files on my server, after that changed and uploaded them again and finally set the file permissions, these things must have been done correctly,
but there are still the same internal server errors.

I don't know if my webhoster uses cobalt server (I don't have a dedicated server), but anyway, why could this be important?

2. probs with the cgi files in the "pages" section:

I forgot the "/links"-directory in the config file, therefore the "wrong" links; I changed it and it works.

sorry,you are right. I have changed it in nph-build and nph-mail, and it works,but (perhaps I am too blind ;-) ) I didn't find it in the nph-verify file, that does not work yet.

You may need to comment out:

print "HTTP/1.0 200 OK\n";

...in nph-verify.cgi
