I can't seem to get "nph-verify.cgi" to work. I click one of the links, Quick Check, or Detailed Check, and it just hangs. It won't roll through. Can anyone help me figure what it might be? Thanks =o)

I've been having the same problem... when I try to run nph-verify from my web site, I get the MSIE "this service is unavailable" error page.

I've tried logging into my site via Telnet and running nph-verify from the shell, and it checks around 18 links and terminates most times, sometimes it terminates after fewer than 18...

Other than that, I'm not having any problems with my scripts.

i had the same problem. all i did is add
a file called validate.db inside the data directory chmod it to (666) and it worked for me.

Thanks... I've tried that and it hasn't made any difference... perhaps I've missed a pointer to it somewhere in the configs.

ask your isp if they installed LWP on their server. somehow i think it's not your fault
