I have a spaceports account and have chmod the correct permissions aswell as have the correct path to perl but for some reason i get a 500 error whenever i click on "add" which goes for both category and link.

Please anyone help!

Try using the FULL PATH to your links.cfg in the require "admin/links.cfg"; line.

Also, double check your perl path in the first line of the script.

And double check your file permissions...check permissions against your hosting company's online documentation related to custom scripts.

And if you have telnet access, type in the following command line:



AND if you are referring to the admin.cgi script, again, use the FULL path to the links.cfg and double check the info above.
