Hey. I have successfully installed the script, added a category and a link.

However, when I try to access the script (http://www.zeldauniverse.net/cgi-bin/links/pages) I for some reason get a 403 Forbidden.

The permissions are set to 644 for the index.html file, as well as 777 for the Pages dir, so I do not see why I get this error.

Help will be appreciated.

As mentioned quite a few times in this forum, you need to set your links/pages OUTSIDE your CGI-BIN directory.

Like:

http://www.readthethreads.com/links/pages/

So, do the following:

1) Delete the links/pages folders in your cgi-bin directory.

2) Change the $build_root_path and $build_root_url in the links.cfg file to point to folders outside your CGI-BIN and under your root directory.

3) Create the following folders in your new links/pages folder:

Cool
New
Rating

And change the permission of these folders to 777.

4) Then re-build your directory.
