After much frustration, I'm baffled by these problems.


From the site search...

Error [search.cgi]: Unable to open search log file. Reason: Permission denied

search.cgi is set at: 755

- what is the log file?



From the admin...

Error Message : unable to open temp links database: /usr/local/www/cgi-bin/admin/data/links.db.bak. Reason: Permission denied

data directory is set at: 755
links.db is set at: 666

- links.db.bak (?) this dosnt exsist



HELP!

1) If you have installed the Keylogger Mod, you need to have a SEARCH logfile in the data/logs directory. Check the instructions again.

2) YOU need to have a blank file called links.db.bak in your data folder. This file must be chmod 666...(which BTW as been discussed about a half dozen times in the past two weeks ---> links db bak).

I appreciate your help Eliot.

This came about do to a move to another server, I hadn't experienced
such problems with links before the move.

All is fine now :)
