Oh Man, Please Help!!

I am getting the following error message

I have tried the following permissions on the back-up directory 777, 666, 644, 755

So..I'm lost now

Directories to be written should chmoded 777 and not other combinations. Delete your old backup directory, make a new one and chmod it 777. The data files should be chmoded 666 so that the nph-build can read the files and make the backups.

I wish it was that simple. I tried your suggestion several times to no avail.

I'm stumped. Maybe I better re-install the whole lot

It was a problem with the server, not me

Now everything builds but no pages show up. Just a blank page.
