I've been working on this problem for quite some time, eager to try and solve it myself (using all of the posts from this great website), but it has been to no avail. My problem is one that I have seen listed on the board before, but nothing seems to work. Basically, the following files yield an Internal Server Error (500):
add.cgi, jump.cgi, modify.cgi, rate.cgi, search.cgi, subscribe.
I have re-uploaded, and chmoded all of the appropriate directories/files, following the detailed FAQ. An interesting quirk appears, though. After I "build" the indexes, etc., the permissions of "links.db" changes from 666 to 644. Could this be a reason? Also, the links appear in the links.db file, but when I try to validate, "admin.cgi" says that there are no links to validate.
