I plan on moving my site to another hosting company in the near future. Has anybody moved the script over to another server? I'm curious to know how difficult it is, if I just have to change a couple of paths for example, or is it much more difficult?

Just so I know if I should keep customizing and adding to the database, or am I better off just starting from scratch when I move the site?

Why start from scratch?
I'll be doing this also sometime soon.

I will have to change:
root and url paths,
images location path, (used globals for these)
probably a few other minor details but not much else really.

All you have to do is copy everything in 'exact' same folders and such, unless you plan to change anything here, from server to server.
I would dread having to start from scratch.

I am doing the very same thing, adding and customizing!
