I'm not sure what happened, but when I go to add a new link into my directory the ID field is showing up as categories rather than a number. The categories portion is showing up just fine.

Can you advise what could be wrong? Could it be in admin.cgi or something else tied to that? I've added mods to the script like mylinks, etc.

have you modified the database structure any? this usually happens if a field is add or removed without also updating the database file.

I found the problem in my links.def file I had an old copy that I uploaded versus a modified one I had.
