Internal Server Error (IMPORTANT)

Internal Server Error (IMPORTANT)
Hello,

I installed Links 2.0. All functions under Links, Categories and Emailing are Okay. Clicking on links under the points "Building" and "Verifying Links" my Server shows me an INTERNAL Error Message. I've set all directories to 777 and uploaded files in ASCII.

What could be the problem?

Phil.

You can enter admin.cgi and try it out:

You may not be allowed to run nph files from the web.

What are NPH Files? Well, I think then the Newsletter-Module and Email-Module shouldn't work, too. But these links work.

Have you made any changes to the build script (nph-build.cgi) file???

The problem I think is with your links.cfg file. When I click on Edit Templates, I get a cgi error message, which shows that you are duplicating directories in your configuration file.

I would double check your config file to make sure you have all the correct directories.

BTW: It is not a problem with the Non-Parsed Header (nph) files on your server, since you can send out the email messages via the Newsletter option.

Wink

Hi Eliot,

I filled in the whole links.cfg script again and uploaded it. Nothing changed.

Furthermore I tried to send a mass mail to all link owners. It also doesn't work (Internal Server error). I can only visit the links "Newsletter" and "Link Owners", but I couldn't send Emails.
