Hi,
I am new to Links 2.0 .
I have installed the script in many free servers like virtualave.net , vr9.com but just because of the banners and some problems installing the script successfully on vr9.com i would like to ask if anyone can suggest me any free host provider.
I have also tryied netfirms.com but i cannot run Links 2.0 there.
I don't know why???
Any Help?

With web space being so cheap, why don't you spend just a few $/month and get yourself a virtual account?

yes i will do that but first i want to learn more Links 2.0.

It really depends on your Links project: database size, number of fields, targeted audience and so on. If you browse these forums you will find a lot of useful info.

http://www.imagelinkusa.net are a great host in my opinion I have been using them for like 5 months now, and only have they crashed once! They have plenty of bandwidth, a free domain, 25Mb of space and loads of other stuff. If you are interested, check out their site

No, that is not correct! It will work on UNIX based servers (as well as Linux), and NT! So, it will work on the imagelinkusa servers

Yep sure looks better than 2000 !!!

But I still like my OS X. I got a BSD flavor base (apache and all the goodies) with MAC OS support thingy like VPC, which of Course I got Win 2000 running on.

too bad MAC hardware is so expensive.
