Is there really an error with the script? Or, are you typing incorrect data in the form? Have you modified the modify.cgi script? Did it work before? You need to present more information to the forum.

Im not sure that theres an error from the script...

When I submit the changes by the modify.html - it returns the
Rating (Invalid format) error on that same page... Like, its looking
for a ratings field and not finding it...
Is there supposed to be a ratings field on that page ????
Im using templates.
Thanks

This error message is printed in sub site_html_rate_failure, which is in site_html_templates.pl. This routine shouldn't be called from add.cgi - it's called from rate.cgi. Have you made any modifications?

Thanks,
Yea, I started to install the ratings mod, but, I thought I had put everything back to
normal, I guess I forgot something, Any clues to reloading which scripts without
messing up my database ??? or which files I can replace to get back to normal ???

Backup your current site_html_templates.pl and then upload the original copy and see if this works. If not, we'll probably have to look at the script to see where the problem is.

Here's a bit of sound advice. Backup everything before you make any modification and comment all the changes you make.

I may not be around for a couple of days because I want to get my links database populated off-line. And, before I do that I need to get Apache running under Win2k.
